GURUilla's NFL Week 5 - Fantasy Pickups

1) Mohamed Massaquoi, CLE - WR - Everybody's hyped up over him for a reason. Braylon Edwards is gone and he just went berserk a week ago, registering 148 yards on 8 receptions. Buffalo is a good matchup and the weather shouldn't be a factor there today; something that could affect a receiver's performance. Furthermore, Derek Anderson has spent extra time working with him. Can you say favorite target?

2) Daunte Culpepper, DET - QB - Matthew Stafford is out this week, so who's going to throw to Calvin Johnson? Try, the same guy who used to throw bombs to Randy Moss back in his Minnesota days. Don't be fooled into thinking that Pittsburgh's defense is well-rounded. They have allowed good chunks of yardage to opposing receivers through the air, especially with the absence of Troy Polamalu.

3) Austin Collie, IND - WR - While they grab Pierre Garcon, you can make a statement and pick up Austin Collie. Show your fellow league mates that both Indy wideouts are equally as valuable in fantasy this year with Peyton Manning picking defenses apart. Garcon is coming off 3 decent weeks, so look for Manning to maybe switch things up a bit this week and toss a touchdown to Collie.

4) LeSean McCoy, PHI - RB - He's splitting carries with Brian Westbrook and the Eagles have a favorable matchup against the Bucs. Philly's passing game should really open up the run today.

5) Miles Austin, DAL - WR - He's starting alongside Patrick Crayton this week after Roy Williams was announced Out due to injury. Austin is a burner and Romo will get him the ball against a weak Kansas City pass defense.

6) Jerome Harrison, CLE - RB - He might have to share some carries with Jamal Lewis, however, Harrison looked tremendous last week rushing for 121 yards. If the Browns' offensive line plays well, Harrison could be in for a big day, but that's asking for a lot. Expect Harrison to get a bulk of the carries.

7) Sidney Rice, MIN - WR - He's available in a lot of leagues and has caught a touchdown in each of the past two weeks. Favre is heating up and Rice looks like a good play this week against the St. Louis Rams.

8) Mike Wallace, PIT - WR - Nobody gives up more fantasy points to the pass game than the Detroit Lions. Wallace caught a 51-yard pass from Rothlisberger in Week 3 and a 35-yarder in Week 4. Grab him this week! He plays Detroit in Week 5 and Cleveland in Week 6. He's bound to blow up in one of these upcoming games.

9)
Jeremy Maclin, PHI - WR - McNabb's back and aside from DeSean Jackson, Maclin looks like a safe bet as an Eagles WR this week. As unpredictable as Philly's passing game is, they should pass in large quantities today, which should translate into some good opportunities for Maclin.

10) Dallas - Defense - The Cowboys are a one-week-start here. They should get you double-digit fantasy points, as the Chiefs tend to make a lot of mistakes and have difficulties putting points on the board.
